Luiz Norimassa Yuassa was born in Japan and moved to Brazil when he was just a child. The first place in Brazil that he and his family lived in was Ponta Porã, a small town near Iguazu Falls. From there he moved to many other cities, and in the 70s he decided to make Guaraqueçaba his home town. Pousada Yuassa, also known as Pousada do Japa (Japanese's Inn), was built about 13 years ago.
