The private nature reserve Salto Morato is located about 50 min from Guaraqueçaba. The area belongs to Boticário, a famous Brazilian perfume shop chain that develops research to protect the rich Atlantic Forest environment. There is an easy hiking path and a natural swimming pool, where you can enjoy nature and some relaxing moments before returning to town.

- 9:30 - Your local driver/guide (only Portuguese speaking available) will pick you up at your hotel/inn in Guaraqueçaba.
- 10:30 - Arrival at the Nature Reserve Salto Morato - "Fundação O Boticário".
- 10:45 - In the visitors' centre you will see a film about the conservation work done in the nature reserve.
- 11:00 - Beginning of the hike, passing by the natural swimming pool "Aquário Natural".
- 12:00 - Time to rest and enjoy the views of the waterfall Salto Morato.
- 13:00 - Hiking back to the visitors' centre.
- 14:00 - Return to Guaraqueçaba, arriving about 15:00.
